It is so exciting when we come together filled with compassion! This project launch could not be possible without the compassion of so many - but connected to cause...to help those in Nepal. Our goal- no amount is too small. Why you might ask? Because we know that all wonderful things start small and that energy spreads and others will soon join! And most of all because we know that all of our proceeds are going DIRECTLY to help those in Nepal. No costs taken out...that is pretty remarkable in todays world!
These bracelets are crafted with such love from a group of 4th graders! You see- City Chik provided the beads directly from Nepal and their teacher provided some inspirational charms...they went to work and created such beautiful pieces! What I love is that when they were making the bracelets- the kids were asking about the prices of the bracelets, made recommendations that some prices should be lower so kids could purchase, and that we should make bracelets not just for adults but for children and toddlers.....how can you not melt with that!
What warms my heart the most is that---the travels I have taken on my volunteer excursions have connected my soul to many places and that I can share my stories with others..and in some way we all begin to feel that personal connection. It is what City Chik is all about- connect, create change....
Connect: earthquake in Nepal. City Chik has local connections- beads, 4th graders, and love.
Create: beads and bracelets made to raise money
Change: funds will be brought back where we will be able to see how the money is used and how we helped change individuals in Nepal. Family by family we will see an impact.
I have seen many images from Nepal through my connections- and they need our help. I couldnt be more happy to bridge the gap between all of your pink hearts and to the local hands of Nepal. Won't you please join us? Check out our shop- we have the bracelets and much more! And remember every purchase will go directly to helping the locals of Nepal. Spread love...
